Iwaki Alpha
In the late 1910s, according to the plans for the development of the Japanese Navy, six cruisers based on the improved design of the Tenryū class were supposed to be built. Due to a number of new design solutions, these ships were supposed to receive an additional fifth main battery gun and have their hulls lightened. The project was never implemented, but its further development led to the creation of the Kuma-class cruisers.
