Manteuffel
A project of a large ship, representing a transitional stage between a cruiser and a battleship. It incorporated several concepts considered by the German Navy command during the development of new projects from the late 1920s to the late 1930s. In particular, six 350 mm main battery guns were among the options proposed for the main armament of prospective battleships in 1935.
