Bridgeport
An Oregon City-class heavy cruiser laid down in early 1945. The cruisers of this series were largely based on the Baltimore-class design with minor modifications, most notably, a revised silhouette intended to optimize air defense system efficiency. Her construction was canceled in August 1945, with the hull dismantled on the slipway shortly thereafter.
