Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya
The lead ship of four Baltic battleships, Gangut, was launched in 1911. She didn't participate in battles for a long time—High Command didn't want to risk losing their newest ships, so she stayed in port during the 1916 and 1917 campaigns. The battleship was renamed Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya in 1925 and underwent modernization between 1934 and 1935. As a result, the fire-control system was enhanced, and a forecastle was added for improved seaworthiness. During the Great Patriotic War, she was involved in the defense of Leningrad.
